Croquembouche
Croquembouche is a popular treat in France and Italy at weddings, baptisms and other special occasions. The dessert is a cone of cream puffs piled high and held together by spun caramel.
The name roughly translates to “crunch in the mouth”, and is believed to have been invented by “the King of Chefs” Antonin Carame, chef to the tyrant Napoleon.
